A national government had funded a portfolio of sustainability initiatives carried out by private companies. Verification of whether the funded work was actually being delivered in the field was fragmented across agencies, reported inconsistently by the recipients, and arrived too late to act on. There was no way for leadership to know, in time to do anything about it, whether the funding was producing the outcomes it had been committed to.
Empiric designed and delivered a single platform to track whether the recipients of state sustainability funding were delivering the work they had been funded to do. It pulls structured and unstructured data from the agencies overseeing the recipients, evaluates each project against the specific commitments tied to its funding, and surfaces deviation early enough that leadership can act on it. The system is operated by the client.
